And Creating A Difference
Empowering Autistic Families
The Communal Family Village
Is a unique Autism African, Caribbean service for neurodiverse children, youths, adults and elderly aged 5 to 50 years and above.
We are truly grateful to the Community Lottery Fund, for giving us a unique opportunity to launch our autism services in July 2022.
Our year-long funding offered free neurodiverse culturally competent drama and dance movement therapy, and The Four Enlightening Creations to autistic families in the Birmingham and Sandwell Boroughs.
We are currently facilitating neurodiversity Arts & Health, private drama therapy and story making workshops.

An enlightened Parent
“It was very hopeful that we are able to meet our own needs when we intentionally work together with sincere commitment and determination.”
“ I found the parent group a refreshing experience, being able to share the experiences of supporting and understanding the view of my autistic daughter and the lack of community aid that exists to help in these situations.”
An enlightened Parent
“The event was successful for it enable us to reflect on the awareness of the lack of representation as a whole for Melanated people but even more when living with Autism. We were able to make suggestions on how we could effect this change and what would it look like.”
