Therapeutic Theatre Company

We launched the theatre company in July 2023 with the help of Ladywood Neighbourhood Network Scheme (NNS). Our aims were to inspire the personal growth and autonomy of Autistic African, Caribbean black males aged 18 to 55 years and above.

We offered therapeutic theatre, drama therapy, and creative expressive arts workshops to autistic black men within the Ladywood Borough. We successfully completed our year-long pilot and the theatre production in July 2024.

We would truly like to thank our autistic males for their ongoing dedication, empowering each other and honouring their inner creative talents.

We are reaching out to African, Caribbean children, youth adults and elderly who are:

  • Neurodiverse & Neurodivergent

  • Have physical needs and persistent pain

  • Experiencing systemic oppression social isolation and insecurities

  • Experiencing communication or emotional challenges

Our therapeutic theatre supports people to perform their unspoken narratives and change their lives in protective nurturing environments.
